How to Tell You Are in the Presence of a Dangerous Person

How to Tell You Are in the Presence of a Dangerous Person: “Oh, what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!” Sir Walter Scott wrote this famous line in his poem titled Marmion about the Battle of Flodden (1808). (Interestingly enough, it is often misattributed to William Shakespeare.) His poem recounts a love story that survives despite a web of deceptions, manipulations, mischaracterizations, lies, and betrayals by two scheming people. It is tragic how people have not changed very much today. Life would be easier if every person with evil or selfish intent was quickly identifiable. But, alas they are not. So the innocent get tangled up in a cobweb of deceit, find themselves in places they never thought they would go, feeling vulnerable and violated, and then left cleaning up the sticky mess of the web. The best way to avoid such a trap is to identify it early. When a person can see the cobweb in front of them, they can walk around it and not have to deal with the consequences of being entangled. What does that look like?

Image - TinyPic - Free Image Hosting, Photo Sharing & Video Hosting

TinyPic was a popular image hosting website that allowed users to upload, share, and view images. However, the website was shut down in 2021. If you're looking for a good alternative to TinyPic, here are five options to consider:

  1. Imgur Imgur is a free and easy-to-use image editing and hosting platform. It's an excellent alternative to TinyPic because it offers similar features, such as the ability to upload, share, and view images. Imgur also has a built-in image editor that allows you to crop, resize, and add filters to your pictures.

  2. Flickr Flickr is another popular online photo and video-sharing platform. It's a good alternative to TinyPic because it offers a wide range of features, such as the ability to organize your photos into albums, create slideshows, and print your photos. Flickr also has a powerful search engine that allows you to find photos by keyword, location, or date.

  3. ImageShack ImageShack is a free image hosting website that offers a variety of features, such as the ability to upload, share, and view images. It also has a built-in image editor that allows you to crop, resize, and add filters to your images. ImageShack also offers a paid subscription service that includes additional features, such as unlimited storage space and the ability to remove ads.

  4. PostImage PostImage is a free image hosting website that offers a simple and easy-to-use interface. It's an excellent alternative to TinyPic because it doesn't require you to create an account to upload images. PostImage also offers a variety of features, such as the ability to resize images, add watermarks, and create albums.

  5. TinyIMG TinyIMG is a free image hosting website that offers a variety of features, such as the ability to upload, share, and view images. Which alternative is right for you will depend on your needs and preferences. If you're looking for a free and easy-to-use image hosting website, Imgur or PostImage may be a good option.
