'how to very nicely tell a guy he needs a haircut? ': 'My 2nd ex-bf had awful hair! X_X So I'm wondering how to tell a guy, very nicely, that he has to get a haircut! XD Long hair looks good only on girls I believe, and guys' hair that touches the tips of the bottom of their ears is in serious need of a haircut a.s.a.p! '
I had long hair most of my life, but my hair wasn't frizzy or too curly. I remember when I was 9 or 10, the first time my hair started to grow out and the sides started to touch my shoulders, bangs always sliding down in my face, the back started down my back and my parents was always telling me I needed a haircut. I was refused to get it cut because I loved it growing long. I was the families 1st hippie. I always took care of my hair. By the time I was 12 my hair was seriously long to the middle down my back, and when I was 15 it was all the way down. When I was 15 I cut 12 inches off but it still was down to the middle of my back. Through high school it stayed about that length. After entering adulthood it was still long but not as long. Now I have 3 boys and they choose when it's time to cut their hair. All 3 has very long hair. As for boys as long and it's nice, not so frizzy, and not in dreadlocks and certainly not put in a bun, go for any longer styles.
